Introducing Bohan Houston our team ASCEND Light-weighting Lead! Bohan is a 3rd Year Mechanical Engineering Student who has been focusing on monitoring the weight of the car and exploring opportunities for reducing weight.

What is exciting about the project?
Testing the car has been the most fun. It is very satisfying to see all the systems working together.

What have you learned so far?
From the testing, I have learned a range of design aspects that can improve the functionality and serviceability of parts. 

What would you like to get out of the Ascend Solar Car Project?
I hope to gain experience working within a team that can improve my engineering and professional practice skills.

 What do you love about the team?
The team is made up of members with a range of experience and I like how we all work together to develop the car and learn new things.
